Sol Seed - Reggae from Oregon

Hello Steemians,

today I want to introduce again a reggae-band to you which provides some awesome tunes for the summer. Sol Seed are a 5 headed group of very talented musicians. And really everybody of them can sing! This music video is the best proof for that: the only person who's not singing there (guitarist) sings in another video as well.

To be honest, there's not that much to find about these guys on the internet. They're from Eugene (Oregon, US) and won multiple awards from the very beginning: the WOW Hall Awards "Best New Act" in 2011 and "Eugene's Best Band" and "Eugene's Next Big Thing" in 2013. The album history starts in 2012 with the EP Rising Roots and ends for now with their latest album from 2017:

• 2017: The Spark

Their musical style is based on reggae but also have some great hiphop parts in it, combined with a pallet of other instruments like saxophone or a didgeridoo. On youtube you will only find live-records, recorded by Sugarshack Sessions (which produces music videos in live sessions - btw really a great youtube-channel i can recommend to check out)

Here's another song from their latest record: Possible Obstacles were the singer pays more attention to hiphop parts than in the other songs. Awesome mix! And well, compared to the earlier records the drummer looks like a ZZ Top band member. Nearly couldn't identify him but it's the same constellation of band members.
