Autograph - Turn Up The Radio (7-Day Wayback Music Challenge Day 6)

Autograph - anyone knows them?

This band was popular mainline the 1980ies and I have bought one album (Vinyl of course) that included the song below which is an upbeat Rock anthem - Turn Up The Radio from a US hard rock band that is still (better, again) active and originally from Pasadena in California. This is my Day 6 post for the Seven-Day Wayback Challenge @steevc kindly nominated me.

The band's lead guitarist Steve Lynch said the record company RCA did not even want the song on the album because they thought it had no commercial value - the band insisted on it though and the song was their only Top 40 hit single. The band played together from 1983 until 1989. The band name was actually inspired by a Def Leppard song with the same title. After 6 years they split following some problems with the record company - 14 years later they reunited. A 2016 live performance below.

The band and this song is a part of my life and mirrors the period of me growing up and checking girls as one of the mysteries in life male are interested in. I should have focused more on music instead lol.
