Some great EDM scene, DJs and producers playing House, Techno and more are located in Croatia - the country that just reached the finals in the Football World Cup 2018 in Russia* by beating England! This is to say CONGRATULATIONS CROATIA and to show the world that this country has a lot to offer, great travel destination (you might check @dumar022 for some potential accommodation there), awesome music artists and football deluxe.
Let me introduce Miss Sunshine from Croatia
Whoever has been there knows that Croatia is a beautiful country. Not everyone knows a lot about their music scene especially when it comes to electronic dance music. A rising top lady is Miss Sunshine from Osijek. She is quite famous locally for DJ sets and production on various different labels (FVF, Monocline, Der Hut, Dual Musik, Illegal Alien, Swap, Lazerslut, SWAP).
Her style is focusing on open-minded people, music without boundaries, minimal tones and solid techno grooves. Hope it fits into the *Wednesday House corner - the brilliant initiative by @andyjaypowell.
Petar Dundov - a male turntable hero
Petar is a local famous DJ from Zagreb being active in the dance scene since 20 years as DJ and producer. He played on a lot major Techno / EDM events such as "I Love Techno, EXIT, Awakenings and Wire" as well as in top clubs including Space (Ibiza). Listen to some of his vibes in the following:
Croatia EDM scene in general
Quite normal the Croatian electronic music scene has been concentrated in Zagreb, the capital sind the early 1990ies in the middle of the country’s harrowing war for independence (1991- 95). During these times of the communist collapse the party culture grew a lot - related to the transition of the region towards capitalism. However the nightlife locations got even more regulated and policed these days which pushed the techno and house scene towards the underground. Nowadays there is less regulation but still the most vibrating trends come still from the underground.

How Cool!
Football: I'm not at all into football, but my best friend is from Croatia, and although she is not into football either, I still will show her your post and will also congratulate her. GREAT introduction and share!
Music: Petar is one of my favourite artists! His music is simple great imho! He also likes to play at the none-commercial festivals like Fusion (Germany), Garbicz (Poland), Serpent Rainbow (Australia) and I love him for that; Fees are next to nothing at these festivals, therefore many artists don't want to play at such festivals. But Petar is different :). He is also a super nice and intelligent guy and when we meet at festivals, we generally have a super time. Owww, forget about Space, Circo Loco at DC10 is the place to be and as a matter of fact, Petar is a regular over there. Last time I heard him play in DC10, he started his set with a more than 10 minute track that was sooooo cooool! Can't share here, since he doesn't want to release the track at all, it is only for special occasions when playing a DJ set.
Thank you very much for making such a nice post about my country and the Croatian football team at the time when they entered the finals of the World Cup 2018, beautifully connecting it with the actual Croatian music scene.
I must admit, although being Croatian, I never heard of Miss Sunshine or Petar Dundov. Probably because I'm not into the music. My music expertise begins and stops where all the very, very average radio listeners expertise do. And when it comes to EDM in general, House, Techno, and stuff, to be honest, I'm more the kind who would switch the radio to another station. 😉
However, if I have to choose in between the two from your post, I can say that with Petar's music I could live. 😉🙂

A very nice tribute to Croatia making it all the way to the World Cup 2018 Finals.
Really a great match for them today and this year's team, Will forever be remembered in their country (Croatia). Today is my fist time of noticing this country to be bequeathed with a lot of Stars as this in this post. A loving country to spend some time in their with this Stars.
Congratulations to Croatia for this great victory and achievement in Russia 2018 world cup. They were in the same group stage with my country Nigeria and from what they played from day one, I knew they were heading somewhere in this world cup.

I am from South America and as they eliminated all our teams despite the distance, the Croatian team has won many fans with their magnificent game we are supporting them hopefully they win the cup. Thank you for bringing such good music and letting us know, I really liked it.
