I've been seeing a bit of a problem arising for Discord Radio Show hosts, Steemit event coordinators, curation blogs, and other steemit bloggers in general who would like to feature fellow steemians' work but are not sure how (or do not have time) to contact the artist to get permission

This is especially frustrating when a host or blogger would like to use the artist's material immediately for a last minute event or feature idea.

As an artist myself, (musician, writer and photographer) I definitely realize how much time can be used up just submitting my work to contests, events, curators, etc. each week. But I also don't want to miss out on opportunities.

I'd like to make these processes run more smoothly for all parties involved, by allowing artists to give permission to be featured on radio shows, in steemit blogs, livestreams, soundtracks, etc., all in one place.

Here's how to officially openly release your work OR be added to the list of "on-call" artists that are actively involved in the Steemit community.

READ CAREFULLY

• To be added to the list, all you have to do is leave a comment on this post with the following information.

Your name (The name that will be credited to your work)

Your Steemit Username:

(This is listed here for people who will be copying and pasting this information into their setlists or whatever ,it is just easier to have your username listed here, even though it seems redundant. It really does make life easier for the rest of us.)

Any applicable websites you'd like to share (social media, official sites, etc.):

A direct link to your work: (If you're a musician this should include an off-the-blockchain site such a soundcloud, reverbnation that allows free mp3s to be downloaded instantly)

A photo which may be used to promote your work. (paste it directly into your comment.)

Any other information you feel is neccessary or would simply like to share.

The type of release you're giving: Open-release or Artist-On-Call. Defined below:)

Open-Release

Open-Release means that your work is available anytime, to anyone, without a direct request being needed, but only if the party who uses your work gives you proper credit for your work. (If you would like to release only specific works, list them and specify that you're only releasing those works specifically.)

Artist-On-Call

To be an artist on call means that your work MAY be available, but only if you speak directly to the party who desires to use your work. If you wish to be listed as an on-call artist, you must provide contact information, either in your comment here, or to me directly via a private message at discord (that is the only place I can accept messages.) My discord username is paintingangels(serena)#3668.

If you do choose to be an on-call artist and to send me your contact information, the only information I need is an e-mail address or discord username. And by doing this, please realize that if someone contacts me desiring to contact you, I WILL give them the address and/or username you've given me.

This is simply a way for you to list that information more privately, rather than putting it here on the blockchain forever. I do promise, however, to only release information to validatable, legitimate parties. If something seems afoot, I will simply gather their contact information and send it to you instead of sending yours to them.

IF you use an artists work for your event, blog, radio show, livestream, video, or ANYTHING, you MUST give credit to the original artist, or I promise to flag you, and call down my army of flaggers who are guaranteed to posses a reputation that is higher than yours. So, yeah. Good luck with that.

The artists are clearly validating ownership to their work here and now, so it's pointless to try to steal it and think that you're not going to eventually be caught and thrown in my dungeon of unimagenable pain.)**
