My best quote is "It doesn't do well to dwell on dreams and forget to live"
The quote was given by Albus Dumbledore in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer Stone. The quote stuck with me right from the very first time I heard it.
You see, so many of peeps seem to have dreams and live in this FANTASY WORLD they've built for themselves that they forget there's a life to live.
It's not bad to have dreams that you plan to achieve
I have dreams. Dreams are a necessity on the road to achievement. However, dreams are worked into manifestation. If all you do is fantasize about what you want to do, buy that dream house, buy a yacht, get your dream spouse, you will never achieve anything.
Like Myles Munroe opined, the graveyard is the Richest place in the world because in there are a lot of buried potentials that never got actualized.
Dreams are given shape when they are worked. Start from somewhere and work your vision till manifestation happens. That's it.
But I would quote a Bible verse for this, Ecclesiastes 9:4 'For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.'
It's a great reminder that as long as we are alive, and as long as we still have breath in our lungs, there is hope. In this world where sometimes everything seems so wrong, there is still hope.
