Australia Saved fist Test match against Pakistan

Good Morning friends, 5th day of the test match was really a day of Australian Cricket team as they saved test match on final day by did a whole batting and loss only 5 wickets so although its a draw but Australia won it mentally and though its a draw but Pakistan loss it because this game was in their hand but they can't convert it into victory.

the first whole day Pakistan did a good batting but very slow run rate and thus they only lost 3 wickets but only able to manage score around 247 so its a very low score if you did not lose wickets. Mohammad Hafiz Score a brilliant Century on the first day, Imam-ul-Haq also played an inning of 76 runs but it came from 188 balls with SR of 40 so it gives more pressure on others batsman to score runs. later on the second day, they still keep playing with same run rate and Harish Sohail did a century too. only Mohammad Hafiz SR is above 60 but other all batsmen who scored runs SR are under 50 and thus they played 164 overs for made 482 runs which is 3 runs per over. if you have a good start and you not lose wickets that they need to play aggressive but they took almost 2 days for their batting. Australia came for a bat for just a few overs but they did not lose any wickets so the game will go on the 3rd day as Australia has all wickets in hand.

on the 3rd day of the test match, Australia did a good start because they played so well in the first session as they did not score many runs but they also not lost any wickets too. in second session they also batted well but they lost wicket Aeron finch in 52th over of inning and then collapse started. the first wicket fell on 142 and then the whole inning all out on just 202 runs. Billal Asif did a brilliant spell of 6-36 in 21 overs. Mohammad Abbas also did a great bowling as he took 4 wickets. only Usman Khawaja and Aeron Finch able to score a half-century but others just come and gone.

The game is turned from here as Pakistan did a big mistake as they choose to bat again instead of giving follow-on because this Australian team is not able to that they can make a huge total after follow-on and their bowlers also were in form but they choose to bat and from here everything started to go on Australia way because now Australia know that we can't win the match from here but we can do draw as Pakistan will bat and then we will bat again so its a few time left in match and we can save it. Austalia did a good bowling in second innings in the last session of a 3rd day as they took 3 wickets quickly, Pakistan felt under pressure and they keep playing defensive on 4th day too.

on 4th day all thought that Pakistan will do aggressive batting as they choose batting instead of follow-on but it not happened as they keep playing so defensive against Australian weak bowling line-up. at last in the end, Asad Shafiq played little cameo of 41 runs from 56 balls which help Pakistan to take 181 runs in 58 overs which is still 3 runs per over. they thought its time to declare because they want to bowl maximum overs to all-out Australia. Australia did good start again as their opening partnership did their job again by playing maximum balls as they seeing only one option that draws the match.

Australia just tries to save the match and thus playing defensive and try to block balls come to stump and leave all balls outside off stumps. in the 30th over Finch was out by Abaas LBW. he played useful 99 balls but once he out, they lose more 2 wickets in 2 over a gap and all taken by Mohammad Abbas so now score is 87-3 from 87-0. Usman Khawaja and Travis Head who is debutant somehow manage their innings and not allow to lose their wickets and survive on day 4.

On day 5, Australia did good start again as they not lose wicket and survive whole first session which increases tension of Pakistan team, once Head try to play sweep shot on Yasir Shah and bowl hit to leg in front of stump, Umpire gave not out as thought bowl will turn and miss leg stump but it was in front of stump but Pakistan didn't take review because they have only one left but in actually its out but they miss opportunity there. Head and Khawaja did a long batting and did a partnership of 48 overs. now match is not about who scored how many runs but who faced how many balls because they are just looking for a draw and nothing else. after Travis Head out, Khawaja and Paine start to build a partnership of 35 overs. once Khawaja out, it looks Pakistan will win but still, Paine is there and keep trying his best to save the match for Australia. Paine did batting with Lyon for last 12 overs and save the game and its really historical game as its hard to play 140 overs in 4th Inning of any test match. Usman Khawaja named Man of The Match for his brilliant 141 runs of the match-saving inning.
