Soneto a la rosa

En las manos del alba vi la rosa.
Huía de sí misma perseguida
por su propia hermosura repetida
en pétalos y en rosa jubilosa.

Con un alto vaivén de mariposa
la rosa, ya en el aire, detenida
quedaba entre la luz, estremecida
de aromas y de fuga luminosa.

Inmóvil sobre el viento desvelado
en rosa de vitral se convertía
la rosa del temblor atormentado.

El día la tocaba. Y era el día
en torno de la rosa, desalado
arroyo de insistente melodía.
