Competitions: Pike fishing spinning and fly fishing
In European waters started 10th tournament of prostaffers known manufacturers of fishing tackle and gear for catching pike. This time, their teams put the company LAUNCH, CNC, Jigger, Alex\Gunk, manufacturer of sounders Raymarine and one of the leaders in the market of equipment and gear for fly fishing - VISION.
In the competition of the tournament only accepts pike. Fishing is conducted on the principle of "caught-released". The fish is released immediately from the boat after measuring and weighing. The teams score is in three positions: 1. Total number of pike caught; 2. Five of the largest specimens ( length 5 and the largest pike) ; 3. The biggest fish.
Interestingly, among the 6 teams one - VISION-catches fly fishing, and the remaining 5-spinning gear. Nevertheless, the dispute between these areas of fishing is always fundamental, so the tournament was given the name FLY VS JERK.
The VISION crew uses large "pike" streamers during the tournament, combined from various materials for knitting fly lures with actively oscillating tails made of silicone. Fishing crews caught on a large silicone bait and jerky (hardbaits).
I personally find it very interesting to observe the different animation techniques used by spinning-fishing athletes. Many bodies of water, such as the Ivankovo reservoir or the Volga in the Nizhny Novgorod region, are suitable for use such options to the animation, and I already want to try to catch this method of pike))).
