We seem to be moving but we are at one station
Everyone seems to be really dry, with no lotion
All we keep doing is making noise with no motion
The rights of everyone is being cut down; no portion
They keep taking lives and it seems without any caution
They keep the big chunk and still fight people for their ration
How did we get to this point, even as humans?
We have allowed greed to cut deep into our heart
You hardly find people who are selfless on this earth
How did we allow things to get this bad, as humans?
How did we forget to be our brother’s keepers?
Why did we focus on the greater goods for private gains?
We seem so self-focused that we have forgotten other’s pains
We need to do better as humans, so we can reflect that light
Only when we become better as humans can we give insight
To how we need to turn our nation aright with a better mindset

A nation that frustrate the effort of its citizens, a nation that kills it own. A nation that see nothing good in what it makes. A nation in which minority take what belongs to the masses. A nation endowed with natural resources only for few to convert it to their own personal use. A nation where opportunity should be celebrated due to nature endowed but reversed is the case. A nation that kills it future through negligence. Who will deliver us?
You have given a good summary to this. We need to do better as a nation and which is why we are clamouring for more love. Love can heal all. Love can deliver us. The problem is we always ask God for what He has equipped us with already. It is our decision to make and we can deliver ourselves when we love more.
It is saddening and confusing to see how we go here as a nation and also as humans. We must do better and it starts with each and everyone of us.
