hey mate. Next time, tell the butcher that you're doing a bone broth. Don't use soup bones and try using big fat marrow bones. It should work even better.
When I do it, I make a stew at the same time, the bigs that get cut off such as peelings and stalks ect go in the broth, the rest in the stew.

Yeh we did tell them it was for bone broth. Theres marrow bones in there somewhere along with big bones, we were given two types. Bone bones and bones with meat.

Stew is super easy.
Get some meat, what ever is cheap, grab some seasonal veggies such as carots, sweet potato, parsnip etc. Add 2 cups of water to the slow cooker, and turn it on for 8 hours.
You may want to add a bit of corn flour at the end to thicken the juices.
From that base you can make it as fancy as you want.
