RE: I'm Not 'Too' Sensitive - Are You?

I resonate with most of these!.

And I love the thumbnail btw...

I was asthmatic for 33 years. And I got rid of it when one night I had a crisis and my inhaler was empty, there were no pharmacies and I had to overcome the crisis without it. I thought I was going to die. But not only I survived, I didn't ever need the inhaler and since then I've never felt my chest "packed" and never had another crisis. Pharmaceuticals keep us sick.

That is incredible!!!! I would need some mental strength to get over that as I had a friend die because of an asthma attack some years ago. I did, however, kick the oral steroids (symbicort). Now when I buy a ventolin they ask: are you on a preventative? And i LIE and say yes rather than have them bullshit me. It made my anxiety worse and statistically Im 6 more times likely to have a heart attack! My lungs hurt like hell for months kicking it but I am so much better now. Yogic breathing and less inflammatory foods are key for me.

And thanks re thumbnail... ever since I saw your post I have been conscious of their importance for the 'look' of steem. X

Also.. heres a thought.. if alot of Steemians resonate with this is it because the online world gives us respite from environmental stimuli?

I had asthma for most of my childhood until college... and guess what... it went away once I got lazy about using my inhaler. Glad you had a positive outcome after a potentially dangerous situation.

Like an idiot, i started smoking from 14 til 33. Suprised Im still alive. Grateful to my puffer for keeping me that way. Regrets. I have a few...
