Home made Wet wipes

I love making DIY and stuff that are useful in our household. Since i have recently had a baby, i made my own Home made wet wipes. Its so easy to make, economical and skin friendly for the sensitive skin of babies (free from harsh ingredients).

You will need

  • kitchen towel (firm)
  • 2 cups of hot water
  • container
  • baby wash of choice
  • tea tree oil (3-4 drops)
  • olive oil

halved the kitchen towel and place it in a deep container. In a separate bowl, combine the hot water, soap, oil and essential oil if using. Mix well. Pour it over to the kitchen towel and leave it until all the tissue absorbs the moisture. Remove the hard bit from the tissue and its ready to use.

It's smells fantastic! You can never ran out of wet wipes as long as you have tissue, and the good thing is Its natural.

Try it for yourself and fall inlove with the scents.

Thank you and Steem on!

Wow... so simple... Thanks for the tip!

Thank you too and your welcome :)

Good idea, I love this kind of post!

Glad to hear that @lasocia. Thank you too for stopping by. Best wishes!

Congratulations ❤️🌺😍

I did something similar with my middle kid who was sensitive to baby wipes. I would keep the liquid (water, drops of soap, essential oils) in a spray bottle and spray her butt directly then wipe clean with a paper towel.

Thank you @metzli. Clever idea, going to try that too. Best wishes!

❤️❤️

Thanks for sharing! I love homemade stuff too! I make my own face cream and face mask at the moment. I must try baby wipes. I was just wondering does the kitchen towel tear easily?

Hello @khimgoh. Wow, haven't yet try to made face cream yet, that sounds amazing! I would love to do one day soon.

I am choosing a firm kitchen towel so it still holds strong when i tear it even after moisture absorbment. It does work for me :) thanks for stopping by.

I think as long as it's not too dripping wet it'll hold, am I right @sherylneil? And congrats to your new baby!

Hello @alimamastory. Thank you so much. Yes, 2 cups of water or less should be enough, with a firm kitchen towel. It works just fine to me. It doesn't tear easily as long as you're gentle tp take out from it. My best wishes and take care. X
