The royal Bengal tiger or tiger is losing its resources to the pride of Bangladesh, mainly due to three reasons. The responsible trio is the hunter-gatherer-government.

For smuggling tiger skin and selling at high prices, poachers are killing arbitrarily tigers. Due to climate change, the hostile environment of the Sundarbans has become ineffective for the tigers. On the other hand, remedial measures are also being taken without government's indifference. The promise of protecting the wildlife is not ensured by ensuring the safe and suitable habitat of tigers. For these reasons, 86 percent of the tigers in the Sundarbans have come down in the last 15 years.

This number of tigers is so worrisome that tigers may be extinct in the next few years. This picture was found by environmentalists, biologists, professors of the country's first division, professor of forest department, and researchers.

There is forest land in almost all the countries of the world. But there are tigers in only 13 countries. The tiger country is called Tiger Range Country (TRC). Among them, Bangladesh is one of the largest. But in our country tigers are living most neglect and uncertainty. The other tigers in the world except Bangladesh are India, Indonesia, China, Bhutan, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and Russia. Despite the International Day, World Tigers Day is celebrated only in these few countries every year. This year is celebrated in the promise of protecting tigers.

Sunderban Academy Adviser Rafiqul Islam Khokon claimed that the existence of tiger in the Sundarbans in 2001 was 440, and in 2016, the figure stood at 106. This number has now become a 'double digit' form. Meaning below 100 is below. Although the results of the latest survey revealed in the forest department in 2015, the number of tigers in the Sundarbans is just 106. In 2004, forest department surveyed the footprint of the foot, it is said that the number of tigers in the Sundarbans is 440. Of them, 121 are male, 228 tigers and 21 children.

Animals and tigers are responsible for directly and indirectly climate change due to the decline in the number of tigers in Bangladesh. Forests are being destroyed on the one hand due to climate change, while new settlements are being created in the destroyed area. It also increases the number of people on the forest. This is why the natural movement of tigers is shrinking gradually. Again, due to global warming, sea level rise, cyclone, saline water intake etc. Sundarbans are being damaged. As a result of these events, experts have identified climate change as well.

Another reason for the reduction of the Sundarbans tiger is the proportion of hunters. The Royal Bengal Tiger skin has become the target of tiger hunters and smugglers in the international market because of the Sundarbans tiger. The hunter goes into the forest with the permission of the forest department in jail. Then after eating food poisoned, to get trapped, even shot by gun, tiger killed. After the murder, Tiger skin is stored in local system. Later they trafficked abroad with the help of trafficking rackets.

Bashir Al Mamun, Khulna Divisional Forest Officer of Wildlife Management and Nature Conservation, said that six hunter-gatherers are active in the area to kill the tigers, according to the forest department's information. From 1980 to 2015, 70 tigers of the Sundarbans have been killed by the attacks of the poacher and the mercenaries, the villain's throats and the natural disaster.

The 'third' cause of the extinction of tigers has identified the government's position as the most responsible. The government has already amended Wildlife Protection Act to protect the tiger. The maximum punishment for the killing of tigers and other wild animals is a 12-year prison sentence. If people are killed in the attack of wild animals, one lakh rupees per person as compensation and injured are given provision of 50 thousand rupees per person. But there is considerable allegation that there is enough irregularity in implementing this law.

Wildlife conservation falls into the responsibility of the government. In 2010, the first World Tiger Conference in St. Petersburg, Russia, was set to target the number of tigers in the world by double by 2022. Due to the lack of proper planning of the government, the number of tigers has increased in the face of increasing alarming rates.

Through the Department of Forests, the government is implementing the program to protect tigers following the Bangladesh Tiger Action Plan (2009-2017). Besides, the 'Tiger' project started from 2015 to $ 12 million for four years. If this project is implemented properly it will be believed to have a positive impact on tiger protection.

But an official of the Khulna divisional forest department kept the name secret and told Risingbd that there are enough irregularities in these two projects. It is not being monitored by the government. Although there is progress in the program on paper, the real picture is different. In 2000, the 'Tiger Project Sundarbans' project was proposed to preserve the Royal Bengal Tiger of the Sundarbans. But they did not see the light of light.

Professor of zoology department of Dhaka University. Md. Anwarul Islam told risingbd.com, "We also have to take a massive initiative along with the government to preserve the tiger. The government has already taken several steps in this regard. But not only the initiative, but to implement these.

The Chief Executive Officer of Wildlife Trust of Bangladesh also said that the most important must be strictly enforced by the Wildlife Conservation Act.

Monirul H Khan, a professor of zoology at Jahangirnagar University and a tiger expert, said, "Tiger protection is the perfect environment. This year is also the International theme of the year. And to clarify every
