The earwig (some photos of an earwig that came to say hello.)

While out in the yard cleaning up a mess of wood i came across an earwig, the kids from next door had been in the yard and asked what it was.

As I picked it up to show them they got freaked out about the little insect what is probably more scared of me than what they were of it.

I showed them and all they kept saying was that the back pincers would get me and sting me, I thought that this was really funny as I have never known of an earwig in the UK or the world that had a stinger.

I had to have a quick look at google to see what it had to say about an earwig, and there is nothing to be worried about.

interesting little thing in it? I was nice enough to pop it in to my garden on the back, I think it will be happy over there a way from the house.
