A Field Of Orangey Red

The centres of these flowers are stunning. Don't you think? Almost perfect spheres. That's what really drew my attention to them when we were out visiting an Open Garden last summer.

They start off orange and then as they grow and age then turn more red which gives a nice variety of colour in the flower bed.

As usual I didn't make a note of the name. In future I will carry a note book around with me, as well as my phone, and hopefully will do better with knowing exactly what it is I'm photographing! 😊
