Fireweed in bloom

July was the time of pink color in forest clearings.

Fireweed justifies its names and illuminates the landscape with bright pink.

I like how it is glowing in last rays of the sun.

Beautiful photos! I used to see this a lot when I lived on the west coast in Canada and always found it to be such a shame that it was considered a weed!😊
