i joined this wonderful challenge by @adalger #amazingnature and I find it great to go out capturing other things of nature and enter again. As should you.

For those off you that know me i love bumblebees.

Bumble bees have a huge attraction on me and I the are harmless.

This is the Amazing Nature Contest. I love contests and I love photography so WIN-WIN. To participate in the contest just use the #amazingnature tag while creating a blogpost that shows how amazing nature in your own surroundings are. This can be anything from a beautiful flowers and animals or for example the birth of a calf to an astonishing sunset. I can do that well except that birth than. I guess i have a soft spot for wings and Feathered friends. So visit @adalger

There are 29 types of bumblebees known in the Netherlands. Recognition of the species seems easy at first sight, because they have beautiful color patterns. There are indeed some species that are easily recognizable and do not have duplicates, such as the bumblebee. However, many species look alike and some have real doubles that are hard to distinguish even for connoisseurs. The 'earth drones' are a notorious example. This species group includes not only the 'real' bumblebee Bombus terrestris, but also the bumblebee Bombus lucorum, the willow bumblebee Bombus cryptarum and the large bumblebee Bombus magnus.

This time I found her on a thistle, so beautiful purple points in the greenery of nature.

Thistles are everywhere in my neighbourhood they are considered weeds, but they are so nesseccary for our insects. And the loom lovely !
