Our house is 11KM. away from Eden Nature Garden Resort it is one of the famous tourist spot in Davao City specifically located in Toril. As usual the road never fails me to get tired when I do hiking heading to that area because it is highly elevated. I did not go to this resort this time, I'm just having a hard time breathing lately maybe because I stopped doing exercises which I actually did daily but I got bored and lazy. LOL! So this time, the idea came out to just do the hiking, get sweat, enjoy the view and breathe some fresh air.
This long road is very helpful to those who wants to do physical activities because it's not busy here. There were cyclists went here too. What I really love this place is that you've got to see the downtown proper area and along the highway you can see huge houses, mango farms, and flowers, this place is where you can enjoy sightseeing, enjoy the natural beauty of nature without any cost. Underneath that bridge is a river most of the residents in these area are still washing their clothes here and there are some part of it where they get potable water. There are also hidden falls here, in fact one of the falls that are not yet develop is named "Hidden Paradise." Yes, hidden because it is located in remote area and getting there is risky, in just one wrong move you may fall into deep cliff because the road is very slippy.
There are lots of fruit vendors along the highway and the fruits they are selling came from their own farm so it's cheaper compared to market.
I have been roaming around into this area because the people here is very earth friendly and I believe in the saying "what goes around comes around." So they are blessed with fruit bearing trees and the air we breathe here is so fresh. The place is so clean and green that is why I love being here and my friends.
