West coast earthquakes
Mag 4.7 and 4.8 quake struck a fair distance offshore Vancouver island. There may not be any risk of a tsunami or earthquake damage to populated areas, but the movement of the explorer plate is very concerning to me. Last year two mag 6 quakes shook the "stuck" techtonic plate, and were the largest ever recorded in the area. Stay alert, be safe.
