Ikea is evil

in #nature6 years ago (edited)

You make a list of stuff you need for the house.. you go to Ikea and you are so happy that everything is there. In one humongous shop you get all you need (plus some extras you didn't know you need, but can't live without them now)

And then, after 300 km walk along the maze you reach the end. That is it! Now we can finally go home...

But wait a second! They know exactly what they are doing. They put the small, cute plants right at the end! When you are already tired and have no strength to resist the temptations.
Look... you will still fit this one on your cart. And it will look so nice on the new shelves and with the new pillows. You need it!
And so the weak and tired human gives up and buy the plants. The last thing you can still grab before reaching another maze of shelves cash point.

So you pick one and then finally can go home!

Ikea is evil!
That's why I love it :))

Another reason to love Ikea is that all the cacti and succulents, and there was sooo many of them now, had names on. That really doesnt happen often in those huge chain shops. They are mostly just "home plants" or "succulent".

This is Aloe Reitzii. One of two or three aloe types I wanted for a long time :) yay!
