Full moon and Northern Light.
Yesterday evening we went up in the mountain with hope to watch the northern light. It did not show up the hours we where out in the mountain. The moon is almost full and gave a nice light when he was rising over the mountains. Because of the big contrast between the bright moon and the surroundings I had to make some compromises as resulted in overexposed moon.
On our way home we observed someNorthern light on the sky and had to stop at the beach across the fjord where we live. It was not much but is the first "catch" of the year :-). It is a nice experience to stay on a dark place and look at the flickering light on the sky when the moon lighten up the mountains around the fjord.

Thank you, yes the northern light can be quite spectacular. I hope I manage to take some pictures of it this winter. Not much light outside during the polar night, must exploit the light that is :-)
Great photos! Northern lights is still on my bucket list! I went to Iceland a few years ago to try and see them, but I wasn't lucky. It has to be an amazing show!
To bad you didn't see while you where on Iceland. Hope you can see it one day. Where are you living, south of the polar circle I presume? :-)

Portugal has amazing weather... until 3 days ago I was still wearing mostly t-shirts! :) And yes, it's very likely to have beach time in May!
