Hiking the mountains in Northern Norway.
Skiing to the mountain Kjølen 31.12.18.
On the New Year's Eve we had our last tour on ski in 2018 to a mountain called Kjølen (the Keel) 466 meter above the sea and a 10 km hike. It was a very cloudy day which gave a very blue daylight, before we later on the day got lots of snow. The temperature was around minus 6 degree celsius and 30 cm snow like powder. Great conditions for skiing. Our dog Nero was tired after the hike and relaxed during the firework when we went in to a new year.
Skiing on untouched powder snow is lovely. You only hear the svisj sound from the ski as you move in the terrain.
The last stretch before we reach the highest point of the hike.
Now we were ready for roasted turkey and celebration of the New Year's Eve :-)

Winter is nice. It looks that you have several projects on the house. It is fun to do things and get nice results.
