Its technical name is "Aeoliscus strigatus", translated it is called Razorfish and it belongs to the family of the "Centriscidae".
The special thing about this genus is that it swims with its head down...yes, exactly, it does this as an adaptation for hiding between sea urchin spines. The natural habitat of this fish is the coastal waters of the Indo-West Pacific. It likes to travel on seagrass meadows and coral reefs, where sea urchins are found.
The Razorfish is a small fish with a maximum size of 15 cm (5.9 in), its body is long stretched and at the end it has a long fine "beak". Its colour can vary according to habitat and environment.
So it can look greenish-yellow with light brown stripes in green seagrass environment.
In regions that are sandier, the body color can be rather than light silver with a black to brown stripe.
One way or the other an interesting conspecific, the only one who moves head over heels. A miracle of nature.

Seu nome técnico é "Aeoliscus strigatus", traduzido como "Razorfish" e pertence à família dos "Centriscidae".
A particularidade deste género é que nada com a cabeça baixa...sim, exactamente, faz isto como uma adaptação para se esconder entre espinhos de ouriço-do-mar. O habitat natural deste peixe são as águas costeiras do Pacífico Indo-Oeste. Gosta de viajar em prados de ervas marinhas e recifes de corais, onde se encontram ouriços-do-mar.
O Peixe Razorfish é um peixe pequeno com um tamanho máximo de 15 cm (5.9 in), o seu corpo é alongado e no final tem um bico longo e fino. A sua cor pode variar de acordo com o habitat e o ambiente.
Por isso, pode parecer amarelo-esverdeado com riscas castanhas claras em ambiente de ervas marinhas verdes.
Em regiões mais arenosas, a cor do corpo pode ser em vez de prata clara com uma risca preta a castanha.
De uma forma ou de outra um conspecífico interessante, o único que move a cabeça sobre os calcanhares. Um milagre da natureza.

Sein Fachname lautet “Aeoliscus strigatus“, übersetzt heißt er Rasierfisch und er zählt zur Familie der “Centriscidae“.
Das besondere an dieser Gattung ist, dass diese mit dem Kopf nach unten scchwimmen...ja, genau, dieses tut er als Anpassung für das Verstecken zwischen Seeigelstacheln. Der natürliche Lebensraum von diesem Fisch ist das Küstengewässern im Indo-Westpazifik. Er ist gern auf Seegraswiesen und in Korallenriffen unterwegs, dort, wo man Seeigel findet.
Der Razorfish ist ein kleiner Fisch mit einer maximalen Größe von 15 cm (5.9 in), sein Körper ist lang gestreckt und am Ende hat er einen langen feinen "Schnabel". Sein Farbton kann je nach Lebensraum und Umgebung variieren.
So kann er in grüner Seegrasumgebung grünlich-gelb mit hellbraunen Streifen aussehen.
In Regionen die sandiger sind, kann die Körperfarbe eher als helles Silber mit einem schwarzen bis braunen Streifen sein.
So oder so ein interessanter Artgenosse, der einzige der Kopfüber sich fortbewegt. Ein Wunder der Natur.
