Moth head up close
This is a close up of the head of a cream striped owl moth.
It is amazing how when you get in close there are details that would otherwise go unnoticed.
There is a parasite clinging to one of the antenna, some major damage to the scales that cover the thorax. Due probably to bumping around a light in the night.
The legs have spiky hairs or bristles.
