Walking in the woods near Gedinne - the Ardennen
Spending the weekend in the Ardennen is the perfect getaway for many Belgians. For me it means...Getting up at dawn, going to the woods for a long hike, return to the chalet to relax in the jacuzzi , drink some of our famous Belgian beers and have a good diner. Nothing more, nothing less.
( Duvel is my favorite beer.When served ice cold in a frozen glas, its unbeatable)

It's been a long time since i went there. We used to go there a few times a year when i was little. Making long walks, enjoying the view and the fresh air. I should go back some time soon. I loved it there and it is so close to home.
You should, it probably will still be the same since your last visit. It realy is a nice place to spend the weekend. Also not that far from places like Bouillon, Rochefort and Dinant.
Duvel + jacuzzi = top weekend!!!
