Rhinoceros Beetle
I recently read a fascinating blog by @miyardi about a Horned beetle in Indonesia
To my surprise I recognized the "same?" beetle we call a Rhinoceros beetle, here in South Africa!
My question is. . . Is this the same species???
My second question is:
If these two beautiful insects are indeed of the same family it begs the answer to the question of how they covered the huge distance between our two countries??
Is there perhaps anyone on Steemit who can help us with an answer?
Nice one Dad whats the url to his post? Is that not a dung beetle?? luv cab!
I think it is also called a dung beetle. But I have also seen a totally different beetle without a horn plying his trade! Ill try and find a picture
