Lightning Show
There was a lightning storm in the UK some nights ago.
I was up late and had no idea it was coming, so it took me a while to realize what were all the flashes going on outside in the middle of the night.
When I realized the lightning wasn't just a one off, I stayed in the garden to enjoy the show. And try to grab a few videos.
I managed to get a few videos, by just leaving my phone recording and hoping one would show up.
I did get one video that I now love.

There were many more like that across the sky where I was. It was truly majestic.

Gorgeous! It's been a while since we've had a good storm here in Australia. I love lightning as a self-confessed ceraunophile (lover of storms). I even have an illustration of lightning that I did as my cover photo. The gif is too cool!
it was Wednesday night / Thursday AM, .. around 1amish, …. haven't seen or heard a storm like that in quite a while, .. and even then it might have been in a different country, .. loved it.

I saw lightning really far away, but only twice, earlier around 5 or 6pm. Nothing else so far, and not sure I can stay up to wait and see this time!

Ah cool. Yeah I’m about to hit the sack.
It’s certainly cooling down quickly and the wind is picking up - so
I’m hoping to be woken up again around 4am. If so I’ve got my GoPro at the ready this time!
