Pacific Red Octopus-3.jpg

Pacific Red Octopus may be small but they are just as adept at camouflage as their larger cousins. Red's only grow to a few inches but have the ability to ripple and manipulate not only their skin tones and colours but its shape as well.

These skin ripple and flaps can be used to mimc kelps and sea weeds as well as other animals allowing this little octopus to blend in very well while looking for food rather than being food.
