The Gran Sabana is a region located in the southeast of Venezuela, in the Guayanas massif, also in the southeast of the State of Bolivar, and extends to the border with Brazil and Guyana. The Gran Sabana covers an area of 10,820 km² and is part of one of the largest national parks in Venezuela, Canaima National Park.12 The average temperature is around 20°C, but at night it can drop to 13°C, and in some of the highest places, depending on the climate, it can drop a little more.34 The place offers unique landscapes all over the world, with rivers, waterfalls and ravines, deep and extensive valleys, impenetrable jungles, and savannas that host a great amount and variety of plant species, a diverse fauna, and the plateaus better known as tepuyes.

It has a wide variety of fauna, from friendly butterflies to creepy jaguars that can make you spend a bad night.
This national park has great prehistoric exploits that until now are protected by the current government of the country.
