MISSING LINKS

In the world we are in now there are many missing links which have made very many individuals to do what is not supposed to have been done in the society, stock exchange market environment in this world today.
These missing links include;

Unemployment

Insecurity

laziness

Low self esteem

The education system

Thinking capacity

To mention but a few.

Many people have mostly in Africa in specific have acquired education in different institutes, many have got the required documents like; A degree transcript, Masters level reward, a P.H.D but what has come there way is they have failed to get jobs because most of these schools,universities have emphasised more on the theoretical part and forgot the vocational bit on it i.e the practical part of what they have studied in the lecture rooms thus have failed to succeed in the outside world.

This is a very good example in Uganda where there is a good teaching staff in a certain institute (yes) they teach all the theory that is required to be given to the students (yes) but the practical part has been a problem to the students thus they end up not excelling in their level of specialisation.
Thats why most of the individuals specifically in Uganda are unemployed why

BECAUSE ;

They lack the practical skills in their area of specialisation

Low self esteem when in interviews

Fear of asking incase they have not understood

Laziness in what they do

Lack of knowledge

I POSE A QUESTION?

Why are Africans lagging behind in most areas of their specialisation like science and technology, in political values and education and so many other and the Whits are achieving more?

A large number of African countries believes there is only so much a man can do to create a better life for himself. You've probably heard the "God works in a mysterious way" comment a billion times, yes God do work in a weird way, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't use our God given knowledge to create something for ourselves. Science has always be involved in clashes against religious beliefs, and in Africa this beliefs takes us years aback in terms of overall development. Forensic is almost none existent in Africa, when a man dies we assume his brother or a jealous friend sent a bird to kill him, this state of mind curbs the level of education the students receive as far as science goes. Schools in Africa only teaches what we already know, Agriculture, Biology, and to some point Geography. By assuming the man died of an extraterrestrial force, we ignore vital info that could be helpful in the bid to protect the people from a fatal disease.

When I was in Nigeria, I use to hear people talk about how the U.S has so many diseases, but here is the fact, I'd rather know that I have 1000 different diseases than to think Cholera and Malaria is the only health issues around me.
All this culminate to low demand for science and technological development, despite how much we need it. Africa has the highest infant death rate in the world, which isn't much of a surprise when most women tends to get their prenatal and antenatal care from a neighbour rather than the hospital. Even when the child is born, they get exposed to dangerous environmental scenarios, such as lead poisoning. Herbal medicines are great but one can easily overdose since you can't really measure them well.

Science contradicts religion in many ways, which is why most African nations tends to stay away from it to avoid potential loss of culture. We need to prioritise one for the other, and with what Ebola showed us last year we really don't have the luxury of being picky

Most Africans families when they earn what they have got in their different areas of expertise they don't even account for what they are going to buy or going to do with the money but since they have earned they just remove on what they have and at the end they forget that they had to pay for their kids fees thus at the end they don't have any direction of planning and accountability and this is where we get the aspect of a white man being the master of planing and accounting for even before he/she gets his/her salary.

Lack of creativity and innovation. Many of the us have posted some content that is not of standard and we keep on getting less UPVOTES because our information that we have posted has no creativity and innovation thus we don't earn as we have expected in other wise i would like to that and give an applause to these individuals that are on this platform for the creativity they have explored; @maratkbesiroglu, @tangerinetravels, @famunger, @danny1995,@toocurious, those ones mostly i have read and i really appreciate the efforts they put in.
