Flower Photography - Yellow Ladies Slipper

This weekend i visited the beautiful "Berchtesgarden" in Bavaria for some photography. We planned to shoot some pictures of the capercaillie, but we where not successful, so we concentrated our photographic effort on landscape and flower photography. At the moment there is the very rare yellow ladies slippers blooming in the woods there. These are very seldom protected plants that only grow on special places. We fount them there in a big quantity and it was really nice to see them in their full blossom.

They grew some meters away from the ordinary walking route, but still they where very easy to spot. Unfortunately i saw a small boy collecting these protected plants and that made me angry so i talked to his parents, but some people are very ignorant even on highly protected plants like these orchides.
