Due to the amounts of time spend on gaming chair by the boys , we got a problem.....
The game chair ’s fabric ripped. The cause the space in the chair was empty. Really weird !

So we went to the market saturday and bought filling.

It was in the centre of Rotterdam and its the part Where they sell filling, curtains, and special needles. So we bought everything we needed for this repairwork.

When the chair is fully stuffed the fabric is not able to rip. I thought it was weird that the stuffing was not already in it, but i dont care i am going to fix this.

I firstly only saw the photo and thought you have repaired a car seat 😂😂😂 I did not knew there are gaming seats. You did a great job as such a fabric is perhaps very stiff and you did it all by hand. Your son is so lucky to have such a resourceful mother 😍🌈

Hi dear Thanks otherwise we would need to buy a New one

At a time when we see so many articles thrown out as soon as they have the slightest imperfection, it's wonderful to see how you took the time to gather the materials need and then repaired this gaming seat.

Some say it's bad feng shui to keep damaged objects, but the Japanese have another way of looking at damaged objects. When they are repaired ~ With love and care ~ Their 'essence' is enhanced.

So as well as being a practical solution, ie the chair will continue to live ~ Only something NEW will be added. ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎

Ally thats sucha great way to look at it, i agree, i would try first to repair and if that wasnt possible i would try to do a new piece of skyleather, and if that wouldnt work i could have thrown it out. So thank you.
I really appreciate another look at repairing goods, and needleworkmonday hahahaah

How odd that there was no stuffing in there! Good fix, I probably would have just duct taped it back together and never realized that the stuffing was missing. :)

Ok dear i confess i did the ductape thing before but that didnt work it all went in, down when you sat on the chair

Lol! So glad you figured out a fix then!

Yes throwing out would be a waste.

That was a clever fix and it looks as good as new. I'm impressed you got to grips with the circular needle, I have never been able to manage those!

Well it was a little hard but it worked , it took me an hour and cost 12euro for the rilling and needles so i am satisfied
