NEEDLEWORKMONDAY: MEMORIES
Hello everybody,
I have no new project to crochet as of the moment. Grateful to FB posted again what I posted in 2015 on Memories Feed.
Wayback 4yrs ago I spent my 58th birthday in Singapore. My 2nd daughter who was working at the Casino there at that time, let me spend 2 months
vacation from July to September.
Before that months, I crocheted my tops I can wear, like this Shades of Green Granny Top.
This was my outfit of the day, When my granddaughter, Avril, accompanied me to the Soka Gakkai Culture Center in Tampines, because I might be lost.
We visited the museum and bought some stuff like books for remembrance.
The materials I used was monaco mercerized cotton and crocheted with steel hook 1.5mm, constructed using extended double crochet from start to finished, for a longer stitch length. I just followed the pattern of my Classic Granny Top I posted in Ravelry. Here's how to make the extended double crochet...

Yeah, I thought green color tops is not for me. I bought that cotton color not for me supposed to be for my 3rd daughter who likes green. I realized green fits me, too. hehehe @fiberfrau I prefer rainbow colors or purple
