String Art Contest
I got to know about this contest from @kaerpediem blog.
Have not do stitching for quite some time so was excited about it. Was planning to complete it yesterday unfortunately we have client request for meeting on our non working day which our boss agreed. Thought the meeting will be a short one but it end up taking up whole of our afternoon with the meeting ending at 8.30pm.
There goes my Saturday.
Sooo...here is my attempt on the string art contest.
Tools used:✏️
-my needle toolkit box which contains needles, scissors,some thread (i made it myself years ago from my grandma lozenges box)
-felt
-threads in various colours
-pencil
First i use the pencil to draw on the felt, a cupcake with a mouse on top celebrating its birthday with little chick and ladybird.
Then the stitching start...almost forgotten to take pictures. You can still see some pencil sketch on the felt that's my guide.
Few hours later, finally reaching the balloons and the mouse ears.
Here is the final product:

Have not decided if to frame it or to turn it into a small bag.

Thanks. Well paper is too thin and i only got felt with me😆 no time for shopping so can only make use of what i have.

Hehe...dint do for a long time and creativity and patient get lesser when your brain is preoccupied with reports and presentation and meeting...i dint even know we got stitching community here hehe...thxs to ur post now i knw
