NEO: Neo for Noobs

I only recently took interest in NEO. NEO has been around since Februrary 2014 which makes it a pretty mature blockchain project. Neo is written in C# and not in C++ like many other blockchain projects. NEO was created with the idea of making a scalable network for dApps. NEO has support for smart contracts in various languages such as Golang, Kotlin,Java and Python. I saw an article on medium where a guy called NEO the "Chinese ethereum". Lol it seems like NEO is really popular in China and has its origins in China if I'm not mistaken. Btw with neo you can earn Gas by holding NEO in one of various wallets that can claim gas.
