Nepal has a wide collection of different species and can be considered as one of the richest in the World. One of such species endangered in the World and found in Nepal is Snow Leopard.

The habitat of Snow Leopards is the mountains of central Asia and Himalayas in Asia. Nepal in the lap of Himalayas is a perfect habitat for Snow Leopard. From WWF, there are around 4150 to 7360 snow leopards in the world. Only 12 countries have Snow Leopard and Nepal is one of it. Nepal has around 300-500 snow leopard.

Snow Leopard is a cat-like creature with smoky gray in color. You might know it but Snow Leopard can't roar. They have black spots in the body. They are around 35-55 kg and 75 to 150 cm in body length. They have a long tail of around 80cm to 100 cm.
