We really do need more bid bots as most of the current ones constantly overbid! However, overall I feel like bidbots are hurting the health of the platform. It's no longer quality to the top, it's just who has the most money goes to the top!
In fact, I agree with you about 'to the top'.
The steemit may need to change the rating policy for the 'trending' and 'hot' post.
