DTube Update 2 Weeks In and Wow! So Far So GOOD!
Hello fellow Steemians and DTubers. Its only been about 2 weeks and I can't believe how well its going for me here on DTube. For some of my followers over on the other video platform who are thinking about coming over to Steemit and DTube check out my last 3 videos I've uploaded here on DTube. If you put in the time and create good and original content then its only a matter of time before someone recognizes your work. At least, that's how its working for me. Plus, if you are into Treasure Hunting we are adding the tag treasurehunting to all of our videos so we can find the content and follow each other on both DTube and Steemit. Anyway, I just wanted to post where I am after 2 weeks so thanks for watching and if you are new to my channel here on DTube or over on Steemit please follow me @mentalmetal314. I have more Treasure Hunting videos coming out soon as well as a new Summer Series blog post that is just about finished. I look forward to hearing from you so feel free and drop me a comment or ask me a question about anything and I'll respond to everyone. Also if you have any recommendations on how or what I can do better fire away. I'm still in learning mode with both Steemit and DTube so any advice is good advice and I'll take it. I am actually about 2 weeks in myself. First week i was just browsing and commenting on the odd post just exploring and engaging in comments before I started posting my content. My first post or 2 also didn't get noticed but last night I had DTube upvote one of my videos. So first whale upvote and it feels good waking up $60 dollars richer in the kitty, Ok yes i need to wait week but the post might still gain some momentum by cashout time.
But more to my point I am also a Youtuber and content creator on multiple platforms and I need to say this. I AM BLOWN AWAY! not just because I can earn some crypto off posting my content but at how amazing the community is here. People here really care about the platform and so the engagement is through the roof.
In the past week just by commenting on posts I have curated about $14 in rewards.... just because i left constructive comments!!!
6 Months ago i started pushing hard on Youtube. 2-3 videos a week, running my videos as ads etc and I am only on 365 subscribers. Its costing me money to speed up growth on youtube.. Here after 1 week of being really active I am close to 200 subscribers and im waiting on $100 of rewards to pay out... Now I am from South Africa and earning $100 a week as a new creator on a platform... unheard of.
I even have a premium content creator account on TopBuzz and its rubbish. I did find being active in the comments helped me quickly up my rep. So far I have not invested a single cent of my own money. Only my time. When I get in some of my bigger payouts yeah the plan is power up power up. I didn't come to this platform to make money. I came here because I heard the community is great and being so new it allows for a better and faster opportunity to get established vs youtube.
I am very excited to be here and to become part of this community. This is the future and we get the opportunity to grab our stake now.
Cool post and I will check out some more of your stuff. Metal Detecting is not something I know anything about but thinking about it it could be pretty epic. Who knows what all you could dig up1
Wow thank you for the kind words and I wish you the very best here on DTube. Your comment would actually make a great Steemit post. I think folks tend to get more upvotes when they promote the platform which is why I think I was recognized by @DTube (thank you btw ) the last couple of times. I really like this platform and I'm encouraging all of my 13k subs over you YouTube and my Facebook group to check this platform out. My goal is to start a community here like I've done over on YouTube and Facebook but give folks the opportunity to make something in return. We are already commenting and liking each others posts, sharing video links etc. on those other platforms so why not do it here and help each other promote their good content? Once they get over the crypto currency barrier then its a no brainer. I already have a few folks tell me they are just waiting for their accounts to be approved and then we are off and running. I hope you'll stick around and follow this channel. I went ahead followed you. My best advice is to keep posting and stick with it. You have my vote. Thanks again for the comment.

Thanks for the upvote! I see you are using Partiko which is a pretty cool app. I use it as well. Since I'm pretty new I'm just following everyone else's advice but something I didn't do which I should is do at some point is post a really good introduction video of who you are and what you are going to do on your cookie show first. Let it run a couple days then start posting on a regular schedule. Good luck! I hope it does well.
