Homeless people in my country

In my country, Nigeria, there are many people who do not have a home to live in. They are called homeless people. In Nigeria, lots of people have no house to live in. We call them homeless. There are different reasons why someone becomes homeless. Some lost their job, so they can't pay rent or mortgage anymore.
Others lost their whole family, with nowhere to go. Mental illness, drinking or taking too much drugs can also make people homeless.

Being homeless is in Nigeria is very, very hard. Homeless people don't have shelter to sleep in safely. They don't have easy ways to get food and clean water. They live outside on the streets, which is dangerous.
Here in Nigeria, there are different reasons why someone becomes homeless. Some people lose their jobs and cannot pay for a place to live anymore. Others may lose their families and have nowhere to go. Sicknesses like forgetting things or addiction to drugs can also cause homelessness.

Being homeless is very hard in Nigeria. Homeless people do not have shelter, food, water or safety. They have to live outside on the streets which is dangerous and they might also be victims of rape and kidnapping.
The government of Nigeria tries to help the homeless by providing funding non-governmental organizations to build and operate homeless shelters, establishing skill learning and development opportunities

We need to invest and empower homeless people. We could help homeless people get training and find jobs so they can afford rent. Increase funding for shelters, food banks, and services that provide meals, healthcare, and other support.
If we work together as a community, we can find ways to get homeless people off the streets. Everyone deserves a safe home and chance at a better life.
