BANDA ACEH - The Office of Communication, Information and Statistics (Diskominfotik) of the City of Banda Aceh held surveillance and data collection of internet cafes (warnet) in the area of Jalan Serambi Mekkah-Unmuha Gampong Batoh Campus, Banda Aceh, Tuesday (08/28/2018).
The result found that four internet cafes operating in the region did not have permits.
In yesterday's activity, Banda Aceh Diskominfotik visited four internet cafe units and all of them did not have permission.
Head of the Communication and Information Office of Banda Aceh City, Bustami, SH, through the Smart City Head, Drs Rahmat Kadafi, MM, said yesterday that in the near future his office would again conduct data collection, supervision and discipline of internet cafes that are not in accordance with the mayor's regulations.
Because in yesterday's activity, an internet cafe was found to have no permission.
In this activity many internet cafes were found that did not have permits and switch functions. So we will continue to curb and give warnings to cafe managers who are not in accordance with existing regulations, said Rahmat Kadafi.
In addition, from the results of data collection and supervision yesterday, an internet cafe was found that the booth was not in accordance with the standards.
The Diskominfotik IT Team also checks internet cafe computers and their usage history, the results are not found any use of porn sites or other prohibited sites.
This week their team will return to the field by targeting a number of internet cafes. If yesterday they were in Lueng Bata Subdistrict, then in the future they will target other areas.
