The Brexit section was the most poignant to me. I'm from the UK and voted to LEAVE the European Union (EU) in the June 2016 Referendum - LEAVE WON!
With three quarters of the House Of Commons MPs wanting to REMAIN and the EU desperate for the UK not to leave, we have this fascicle and unacceptable deal PM Theresa May has negotiated. This is not a DEAL but a TREATY and has been compared to, in a sense , The Treaty Of Versailles.
We stay in the Customs Union, still have freedom of movement, pay the EU 39 billion pounds . Most importantly, the DEAL excludes an Article 50 ie. we can decide to come out of the deal at a future date. Also, we have no vote in the EU from there on - but we are still tied to the EU.
In essence, THIS IS A TOTAL BETRAYAL OF DEMOCRACY.
From the perspective of what I hear about Brexit, it does seem like a betrayal of the will of the people in the UK.
