Russian military patrols Douma's streets (video)

BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:00 A.M.) - The Russian military is actively working inside the East Ghouta region of Damascus to clear all towns and villages of potential hazards, such as mines and IEDs.

This week, a Russian media channel released footage of Russian military police actively patrolling the streets of Douma in order to secure the entire town.

With the Russian military police active in Douma, residents have actively worked to inform these troops about former Jaysh Al-Islam bases and potential sleeper cells in the town.

The Russian military has already uncovered several storage facilities and depots that were used by Jaysh Al-Islam before their departure from Douma.
