Syrians rally in Damascus to participate in Al-Quds Day (video)

BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:00 P.M.) - A large number of Syrians rallied in Damascus on Friday to participate in the Al-Quds Day event that was taking place across the world.

Thousands of Syrians were filmed on Friday in the Jaramana Refugee Camp and Damascus city taking part in the Al-Quds Day event:

Al-Quds Day is held every year on the last day of Ramadan; it was first started in Iran in 1979.

The largest Al-Quds Day rallies often take place in both Yemen and Iran, where tens of thousands of people flood the streets to participate in this event.
