The Afrin Liberation Forces released go-pro footage of their troops carrying out an ambush on an Ahrar Al-Sham military post in the Afrin region town of Shera. Former ISIS member joins ranks of Turkish-backed FSA in northern Aleppo

China to test fire newly acquired S-400 system

"The Chinese military are expected to hold tests at one of their practice ranges in the first ten-day period of June to test-launch S-400 ‘Triumf’ missiles, which Russia supplied to China in April instead of damaged missiles. Commander of Syrian Special Forces division assassinated in western Sweida

According to reports, Brigadier General Jamal Al-Ahmad of the 15th Division was driving along Al-Hajj Road when a group unknown assailants opened fire on his vehicle. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack. Sleeper cells belonging to the Free Syrian Army (FSA) have been operating inside the southern region of Syria, targeting the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) units in Dara'a, Al-Sweida, and Al-Quneitra.

Syrian Army storms strategic town in northwestern Hama

Led by their Tiger Forces, the Syrian Arab Army began their assault by storming the key hilltop of Tal Sakher, which is located between Al-Hobeit and Kafr Naboudeh. Russia test fires new interceptor missile

"Another test-launch of a new Russian interceptor missile was successfully conducted by the Russian Aerospace Defense Forces from the Sary-Shagan training range in Kazakhstan," the defense ministry said. Syrian Army captures first town since resuming southern Idlib offensive: video
Published 2019-06-04 09:02:59 by News Desk in SyriaThe Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has reportedly regained control of Qusabiya in southern Idlib on Monday, making it the first town to be recaptured along the border between the provinces of Hama and Idlib. Footage shows clouds of smoke billowing after shelling as well as soldiers and military equipment in the liberated area. The advances reportedly came after heavy clashes with the militant enclaves in Qusabiya which serves as a strategic supply point for nearby towns.
