Speaking to the newspaper, Wu Jiangqi, a senior defence scientist at China Electronics Technology Group, a state-owned electronics giant which creates of a variety of applications for civilian and military use, including radars, said that meter wave radar "can fulfill the requirement" of detecting enemy stealth systems with high precision "as long as they are designed to serve this purpose." Syrian Army approaches last militant strongholds in northern Hama: map
Published 2019-08-07 21:28:50 by News Desk in SyriaBEIRUT, LEBANON (9:10 P.M.) - The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) resumed their offensive in northern Hama this week after their conditional ceasefire with the militant groups in northwestern Syria collapsed. Led by the Tiger Forces, the Syrian Arab Army resumed their assault on the towns of Arbaeen and Zakah last night, seizing the former after a fierce battle with Jaysh Al-Izza. Following the capture of Arbaeen, the Syrian Arab Army pushed their way into Zakah, where they managed to impose control over the town at dawn on Wednesday morning.

Iran to showcase own version of S-300 missile system

"There will be very good news in the field of air defense on August 22. I hope the defense capability of our country will significantly increase with the demonstration and transfer of the Bavar 373 system, which will happen on Defence Industry Day," Hatami said, as quoted by the defense ministry.
