Death of Anthony Bourdian

Anthony Bourdain was a gifted chef with many talents. He was well known for exploring different cultures and cuisines. His passing is great loss to millions.

Anthony Bourdain's death was confirmed by CNN on Friday stating that the cause of death was suicide. He was 61.

He was in France filming an episode for ‘Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown.’, when he was found unresponsive at his hotel room by Eric Ripert that Friday morning.

World renowned Chef Gordon Ramsay even took to Twitter to show his condolences stating that he "brought the world into our homes and inspired so many people to explore cultures and cities through their food."

A sad day it is as we mourn the loss of another brilliant individual who has inspired countless people. Depression should never be taken lightly and we should pay greater attention to the signs the people surrounding us might show. It doesn’t matter how successful or happy one looks on the outside. We’re all human.
