Military spending has increased from year to year since the start of the cold war crisis. Currently three countries namely the United States, China, and Saudi Arabia are in the top position related to military expenditures.

The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) lists countries that are spending big budgets in the military sector.
