Crypto News Flash #161: Kodak Announced The ICO Goal For Image Protection Platform Based On Blockchain !!
For quite sometime, people in crypto space are waiting for two potential ICO's which they believe can earn huge returns on their investment. Those two ICO's are Kodak and Telegram.
While telegram has already announced that they're not going to conduct any public sale as they have already raised huge investment through private sales, people are keeping an eye over Kodak ICO.
Now, Kodak has also announced their Public Sale goal along with all the necessary details with press. Wenn Digital, the developer of Blockchain based Image Protection Platform licensed by Kodak has announced that they're looking forward to raise almost $50 Million via their public and private sales.
Wenn Digital has developed a platform based on Blockchain which is focused on Image Protection, Monetization and distribution using Blockchain Technology so that copyrights of images can be protected which are registered on the platform.
The ICO will begin on 21st May 2018, although it was initially planned to be conducted on February 2018 but later delayed to know the status of investors.
As per this source, Cam Chell, the founder of Kodak One told the press:
“We really took a step back and decided that we would ensure that all T’s were crossed and I’s dotted before we embark on a public sale. We wanted to make sure that we got it right.”
It is confirmed that Kodak's ICO is registered under SEC using an agreement called Simple Agreement for Future Tokens (SAFT). But the SAFT's issues are only limited to Accredited Investor, not any investor.
So, if you're going to participate in Kodak ICO, then you must be an Accredited investor.

Building this blockchain platform is one of the last chances for Kodak to turn the tide. Their corporate value has been going down for years now, missing the boat of digital photography completely. I hope this goes well for them..
