Ethereum Classic (ETC) Going To Be Listed On Coinbase | Saw A Price Spike Of 25%

Coinbase is, as we all know, a major exchange with fiat-to-crypto trading platform. Its a major volume holder in crypto space and one of the oldest cryptocurrency exchange. Basically, Coinbase offers Crypto-to-fiat trading which many Volume-holders exchange doesn't support yet. That's why Coinbase enjoys a premium goodwill in the crypto space. 

If we talk about the Coins available to buy on Coinbase, then there's not much. Only a handful of Coin are being offered by Coinbase currently including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH). Now, the 5th coin has announced by the exchange recently which is going to be listed on exchange in few months. 

This Alt coin is none other than Ethereum Classic (ETC)

Ethereum Classic is the fork of Ethereum back in 2016 as a result of developers who never wanted any changes in original Ethereum code. So, they made a new Alt coin named Ethereum Classic (ETC) out of Ethereum. Currently, ETC is 18th most valuable Alt coin in crypto space holding over $1.56 Billion in market capitalisation and trading at $15.31 a piece.

Coinbase announced that they'll list ETC and after their announcement ETC's price saw a huge pump by 25%. The price got this spike within a few minutes and from $12 it got spiked to almost $16. 

Although, Coinbase announced that it would take several months to list ETC onto the exchange and they'll announce the launch date as soon as final integration has been done.
