Brand new forest was planted in Prague
Hi everyone!
Today, I am coming with news that will certainly please all nature lovers. I have already informed you about some major tree-planting projects in Prague in some of my previous posts and it is my pleasure to let you know that actually an entire forest has just been planted in the city´s neighborhood of Satalice.

Known as Arborka, the new forest was planted on what used to be agricultural fields and it occupies more than 18 hectares. Consisting of over 89,000 newly planted trees, Arborka should once become a popular natural place where local residents will go to relax and enjoy some fresh air.

The project was prepared and financed by the Department of Environmental Protection and it is a part of the city´s efforts to fight negative effects of the climate change.
